Plan for the End of Life of MYOB Payroll

With the release of the March 2025 update for MYOB Payroll, staff may have seen an additional message about it being decommissioned on 1 April 2026. More information is on the MYOB website here: https://info.myob.com/nz/lp/pr/myobpayroll/overview

The software has had a long run (since at least 2009) and companies are still using it. While you need to update to the latest version before the end of this month for all the tax changes, you also need to plan to replace MYOB Payroll before April 2026 – preferably this year.

MYOB has multiple payroll products, but this is only for MYOB Payroll (the same icon as in the image).
